FROM PRINCIPAL'S DESK
With the advancing technocratic world of today we need to review the past and add current needs. This year we have focused on the needs and demand of or National Education Policy 2020. This policy focuses on teaching in local language up to secondary classes and so the Marathi language has been added in the curriculum up to classes I to VII. The policy promotes skill education through multiple entries and multiple exit for all kinds of subjects besides mainstream subjects. It also promotes experiential learning and art integration in teaching to make the environment in school which promotes creativity and innovations.
Gone are the days of frightening judgmental final exams. Today CBSE wants every school to adopt new education policy recommendations where by the each session is divided into two semesters, accordingly the school plans also follows the DAV CAE plan for curriculum will recognize and encourage special abilities of students.
It is hoped that this planner will help the students to go for learning. The child will be evaluated not only for academic performance but all the aspects of learning 360o holistic approach like aptitude, attitudes and skills. It will help the parents also to recognize the innate abilities and skills though competitions/activity plan. It will help the students and parents to choose subjects for future studies through multiple learning platforms of digital and IT like online teaching.
This planner envisages utility of all resources and addresses diverse needs of students, teacher and parents to be in uniformation to achieve the outcomes. It also allows paedogogical plans to be implemented in true sense involving all stake holders to understand their role in learning to achieve outcomes expected outcomes.
My best wishes to all for the new session.
